therealdeal.com – Wendy Maitland, one of the founding members of Town Residential and its president of sales, is leaving the firm, The Real Deal has learned.
The reasons for Maitland’s departure remain unclear. She did not respond to multiple requests for comment, and representatives for Town couldn’t be reached for comment.
Maitland joined Town at its inception in December 2010 from Brown Harris Stevens and became one of the company’s most influential executives, alongside other stalwarts such as executive vice president Itzy Garay and managing director Melissa Van Damm. The three stood by the company amid a public dispute in 2014 — that was later settled — between Heiberger and company co-owner Joseph Sitt over the company’s finances.
