Watch: Aidan O’Shea Dive Earns Mayo Crucial Penalty

balls.ieFor most of the second half between Mayo and Fermanagh at MacHale Park, it looked like the Connacht side were heading out of the Championship.

Fermanagh held a six-point lead at the half though were reeled in by a Mayo side who had the wind behind them in the second 35 minutes.

With less than seven minutes left – and Fermanagh still leading by a point – Mayo were awarded a penalty by referee Joe McQuillan.

Aidan O’Shea received a nudge in the back. For a man of O’Shea physique he went down incredibly easily.
