esquire.com – Congressman Steve King, the besuited goblin whom Iowans have elected to represent them in the House of Representatives seven consecutive times, has found a new way to stick it to the PC Crowd. King has lived his whole life in Iowa, a state that fought for the Union in the Civil War, which is why he keeps a Confederate Flag on his desk in beautiful Sioux City.
That’s right: While interviewing King about a bill he recently introduced in Congress, local station KCAU unwittingly discovered that he rocks the Stars and Bars alongside his U.S. flag, Iowa State flag, Papal State flag (!), and, of course, his Don’t-Tread-On-Me Gadsden flag.
