esquire.com – CLEVELAND, OHIO—A couple of Trump top foreign policy advisers were schooled outside The Wall today.
The Global Oval is a coalition of advocacy groups brought together for both Conventions to explore the “opportunity and responsibility” for continued U.S. Leadership in global affairs. Today, they set up shop in the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame’s Foster Theater, conveniently cozy to the museum’s Pink Floyd exhibit and a giant stage prop version of The Wall.
A spokesperson for the Global Oval confirmed the presence of the advisors, but declined to disclose their identities. Presumably, they were not any of the more than 100 Republican foreign policy elites who signed an open letter last March opposing Trump on the grounds that the presidential hopeful is “fundamentally dishonest” and unqualified to oversee American national security.
